TEMPORARILY RESTRICTED FUNDS - AGREEMENTS FROM INDIVIDUALS OR ORGANIZATIONS WHO GAVE MONIES THAT ARE TO BE SPENT FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES, SUCH AS, NON- ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS, PASS-THRU GRANTS AND OTHER PURPOSES REQUESTED BY THE DONORS.
ENDOWMENT FUNDS - AGREEMENTS FROM INDIVIDUALS AND ESTATES WHO GAVE MONIES THAT ARE PERMANENTLY RESTRICTED AND ONLY THE INCOME CAN BE PAID TO THE AGREED NAMED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION LISTED IN THE AGREEMENT OR FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS.
THE GREENE COUNTY WEEKEND FOOD PROGRAM OF CFGC WORKS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE BAGS OF NO-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS FOR CHILDREN IDENTIFIED AS BEING FOOD INSECURE. MONIES ARE PROVIDED TO THE SCHOOLS TO PURCHASE FOOD FOR DISTRIBUTION THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.
THE MAJORITY OF OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES ARE MADE UP OF RESTRICTED AND UNRESTRICTED GRANTS. IN ADDITION TO THE GRANTS, AMOUNTS ARE ALSO INCLUDED FOR THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE FUND, AND COMMUNITY BUILDERS PROGRAMS.
