THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE NORTHERN ALLEGHENIES IS MADE UP OF TWO AFFILIATES: THE ELK COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2000, AND THE MCKEAN COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2017.BOTH COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS, THROUGH DONATIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, MAKE GRANTS TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTIES FOR EDUCATION, ARTS, HEALTH SERVICES, HUMAN SERVICES, CIVIC SERVICES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
