THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE COMPANY IS TO SAVE, RESCUE AND PRESERVE THE LIVES AND PROPERTY OF THE CITIZENS OF CENTRE HALL BOROUGH AND POTTER TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY, PA, AND SUCH OTHER COMMUNITIES WHICH MAY REQUEST THE COMPANY'S SERVICES, FOR MUTUAL AID AND SUPPORT FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, FROM INJURY AND DESTRUCTION BY FIRE OR OTHER EMERGNCIES. THE COMPANY SHALL HAVE THE PURPOSE AND POWERS AS STATED IN ITS ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION, AND WHATEVER POWERS ARE OR MAY BE GRANTED BY THE NONPROFIT CORPORATION LAW OF 1988 OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PA, OR ANY SUCCESSOR LEGISLATION.
