IN FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 PAAR SERVED 2,555 CLIENTS THROUGH VARIOUS MODALITIES TO HELP SURVIVORS FROM SEXUAL VIOLENCE. PAARS HELPLINE VOLUNTEERS AND ADVOCATES RESPOND 24/7 TO VICTIMS IN CRISIS FROM SEXUAL VIOLENCE. IN THE LIGHT OF THE PANDEMIC AND OTHER SOCIETAL FACTORS, PAAR SAW AN INCREASE IN THE NEED FOR OUR SERVICES FROM EDUCATION AND PREVENTION, ADDRESSING CRITICAL ESSENTIAL NEEDS TO BRIEF SUPPORTIVE COUNSELING AND TRAUMA PROCESSING. PAAR ALSO PROVIDED PREVENTION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO OVER 11,960 INDIVIDUALS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY. PAAR HAS ESTABLISHED SATELLITE OFFICES IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY SO SERVICES ARE MORE ACCESSIBLE TO VICTIMS THROUGH ALLEGHENY COUNTY.
