IN FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 PAAR SERVED 2,338 CLIENTS THROUGH VARIOUS TRAUMA MODALITIES AND SERVICES TO HELP VICTIMS HEAL FROM SEXUAL VIOLENCE. PAAR CONTINUES TO SEE A INCREASE IN SURVIVORS SEEKING INDIVIDUAL TRAUMA THERAPY AND SERVICES FOR SEXUAL ABUSE. PAARS HELPLINE VOLUNTEERS SPENT 5,929 HOURS ANSWERING THE 24/7 HELPLINE AND RESPONDING TO HOSPITALS WHEN SURVIVORS NEEDED SUPPORT. PAARS VICTIM RESPONSE ADVOCATES RESPONDED 24/ 7 TO 326 VICTIMS IN CRISIS AT ALL 20 EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY, ASSISTED 370 SURVIVORS IN THE CRIMINAL LEGAL SYSTEM AND CONDUCTED 54 APPOINTMENTS WITH INCARCERATED SURVIVORS IN THE ALLEGHENY COUNTY JAIL. PAARS EDUCATION TEAM PROVIDED 5,088 K-12 STUDENTS EDUCATION AND PREVENTION PROGRAMMING, 3,257 COLLEGE STUDENTS RECEIVED PREVENTION PROGRAMMING AND 2,894 COMMUNITY MEMBERS RECEIVED PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. IN ADDITION PAARS CLINICAL TEAM HAS EXPANDED GROUP SUPPORT TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS INCLUDING 8 ONGOING SUPPORT GROUPS.
