GOVERNMENT RELATIONS: CUCFA MONITORS LEGISLATION MOVING THROUGH SACRAMENTO AND ALERTS ITS MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS TO ISSUES OF CONCERN. CUCFA PREPARES REPORTS AND ANALYSES ON PROPOSED LEGISLATION AND THEN DISTRIBUTES THAT INFORMATION ONLINE, TO THE PRESS, AND IN PRINT AS APPROPRIATE.


EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATION: CUCFA HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET AND CONFER WITH THE UC OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT ON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF FACULTY EMPLOYMENT IN THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SYSTEM.


COORDINATION AND INFORMATION: CUCFA COORDINATES SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES OF ITS MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS AND PREPARES INFORMATION FOR FURTHER DISTRIBUTION TO INDIVIDUAL FACULTY BY CUCFA'S CAMPUS BASED CHAPTERS.
