HOPE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY IS AN INDEPENDENT, COMPREHENSIVE INSTITUTION OF HIGHER LEARNING OFFERING UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE DEGREES. THE UNIVERSITY MAINTAINS A CLOSE AFFILIATION WITH INDEPENDENT NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHRISTIAN CHURCHES AND CHURCHES OF CHRIST. FOUNDED IN 1928, HIU HAS EXPANDED ITS EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS TO INCLUDE DEGREE PROGRAMS THROUGH FIVE COLLEGES. IN 2020, HIU SERVED 1,530 UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS IN DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS PROVIDED BOTH ON-GROUND AND ONLINE THROUGH THE CAMPUS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
