THE ANNUAL MEETING PROVIDES ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEONS AND RESIDENTS WITH A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF THE NEW RESEARCH AND FINDINGS. ATTENDEES ARE PROVIDED WITH THE OPPORTUNITIES TO INTERACT WITH PRESENTERS IN QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSIONS RELATED TO DAILY PRACTICE AND TO STRENGTHEN PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH FELLOW ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEONS. FOLLOWING THE MEETING, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:1) SUMMARIZE NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN DIAGNOSTICS AND/OR TREATMENT OF SPECIFIC ORTHOPAEDIC CONDITIONS.2) REVIEW CURRENT STATE-OF-THE-ART APPROACHES TO ORTHOPAEDIC PROBLEMS IN SPINE, UPPER EXTREMITY, LOWER EXTREMITY, AND OTHER AREAS OF ORTHOPAEDIC CONCERN.3) DESCRIBE APPROPRIATE USE OF DEEP VENOUS THROMBOSIS PROPHYLAXIS AND HOW IT APPLIES TO DIFFERENT PATIENT POPULATIONS.
