TO ADVANCE THE PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE FACULTY AND ACADEMIC PROFESSIONALS. TO IMPROVE THE INSTRUCTION AT PORTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE. TO ELIMINATE ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION IN EDUCATION. TO COOPERATE WITH ORGANIZED LABOR FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING DEMOCRATIC CONCEPTS THROUGH THE SCHOOLS AT ALL LEVELS.

PART-TIME FACULTY HEALTH INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENTS ARE A TRUST FUND FOR MEMBERS OF THE BARGAINING UNIT FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF HEALTH CARE PREMIUMS. PORTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE PROVIDES INSURANCE ASSISTANCE TO THE BARGAINING UNIT, WHO HAS NO HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN THROUGH THE COLLEGE.
