Part 3 - Line 4a
COMMUNITY BASED THEATRETHEATRIKOS THEATRE COMPANY EMBRACES THE SPIRIT OF BROADWAY IN BRINGING THE VERY BEST OF THEATRE TO THE FLAGSTAFF STAGE. BUT 2021 WAS FAR FROM NORMAL. AFTER BEING DARK FOR A YEAR AND A HALF DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THEATRIKOS RE-OPENED ITS DOORS IN SUMMER OF 2021. OUR FIRST SHOW, DONE MOSTLY OUTDOORS AT THE ARBORETUM AND NOT ON OUR STAGE, HAD ONLY 1/3 OF PRE-PANDEMIC ATTENDANCE. THE NEXT SHOWS IN 2021 RETURNED US TO OUR STAGE. ALTHOUGH AUDIENCES REMAINED SMALL, WITH EACH PASSING SHOW, THEY SLOWLY INCREASED. THUS, GIVING US HOPE FOR THE FUTURE. PANDEMIC DISASTER RELIEF SUCH AS PPP, IRS ERC, AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, SBA SVOG BALANCED OUR BUDGET AND PUT US IN A POSITION TO TACKLE 2022 HEAD ON.
