TANGO FIRE OF ARGENTINA RETURNED TO NEW ORLEANS ON JANUARY 22, 2022 ATH THE MAHALIA JACKSON THEATER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS. THIS WAS THE FIRST PERFORMANCE AT THE THEATER ON NOBA'S MAIN STAGE SEASON SINCE JANUARY 2020.
VARIOUS DANCE PERFORMANCES, SERVICE AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
ON MARCH, 12, 2022 BALLET HISPANICO PERFORMED THEIR NEW ORK "DON PERON" FOR THE FIRST TIME ON STAGE AT THE MAHALIA JACKSON THEATER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS. THE RESIDENCY INCLUDED A WORK SET ON NOBA PRE-PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS, MASTER CLASSES/WORKSHOPS FOR THE COMMUNITY AND A POST-PERFORMANCE EVENT.
AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE RETURNED TO NEW ORLEANS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALMOST 50 YEARS WITH "DON QUIXOTE" WITH ACCOMPANIMENT BY THE LOUISIANA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA. THE PERFORMANCE ALSO FEATURED NOBA STUDENTS, FACULTY AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
