MEMBER AGENCY GENERAL ALLOCATIONS: FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF 31 PROGRAMS THROUGH 19 MEMBER AGENCIES. ALLOCATIONS ARE FUNDED THROUGH INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATE, AND GRANT DONATIONS. THESE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WORK TO SOLVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE NEEDS IN NORTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.
IN MAY 2022, UNITED WAY OF NORTHEASTERN SD PARTNERED WITH THEIR LOCAL LETTER CARRIERS COLLECTING AND SORTING OVER 17,000 LBS. OF NON-PERISHABLE FOODS. THE FOODS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO SALVATION ARMY AND JOURNEY HOME.
IN APRIL 2022, OVER 200 LOCAL COLLEGE ATHLETES, COACHES, AND SITE LEADERS SPENT A LABOR INTENSE DAY WORKING FOR NONPROFITS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, CONTRIBUTING $25,000 WORTH OF LABOR. UNITED WAY OF NORTHEASTERN SD SPEARHEADED THE EVENT, LOCATING 19 PROJECTS BASED ON NEED AND MERIT.
