NATIONAL HEADACHE FOUNDATION SERVES AS A SOURCE TO HEADACHE SUFFERERS, PHYSICIANS AND ALLIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS WHO TREAT THE PUBLIC BY PUBLISHING A PERIODIC "HEAD FIRST " NEWSLETTER AND HOSTING A WEBSITE FEATURING THE LATEST INFORMATION ABOUT HEADACHES.
NATIONAL HEADACHE FOUNDATION PROVIDES OUTREACH TO HEADACHE SUFFERERS THROUGH VIDEOS,PODCASTS, PUBLIC AWARENESS PROGAMS, BROCHURES, AND THE NATIONAL HEADACHE AWARENESS MONTH. THE FOUNDATION STAFF ATTENDS SEMINARS TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS REGARDING HEADACHE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE INDIVIDUAL, FAMILIES AND SOCIETY.
CERTIFICATE OF ADDED QUALIFICATION IN HEADACHE MEDICINE FROM THE NATIONAL HEADACHE FOUNDATION IS A DESIGNATION GIVEN OUT BY THE FOUNDATION AFTER PASSING OF A TEST IN HEADACHE. CERTIFICATION RECEIPIENTS ARE RECOGNIZED ON THE HEADACHE WEBSITE AND CAN LIST THE CERTIFICATION AT THEIR PRACTICESTHESE NOTIFICATIONS MAKE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AWARE OF THEIR ADVANCED SKILLS IN HEADACHE.
