TO DEVELOP A COLLABORATIVE BASIC AND CLINICAL RESEARCH PROGRAM IN OUR FOUR CORE RESEARCH AREAS: CANCER, NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASES, RARE DISEASES, AND ADULT STEM CELL THERAPIES. IN 2023, JP2MRI CONTINUED OUR RESEARCH EFFORTS INTO DEVELOPING AN IMMORTALIZED STEM CELL LINE TO REPLACE THE ABORTED FETAL CELL LINES BEING USED IN RESEARCH PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS. THE INSTITUTE ALSO CONTINUED ITS EFFORTS INTO DEVELOPING A SAFER AND MORE ROBUST CORONAVIRUS VACCINE UTILIZING A TRADITIONAL NON-MRNA BASED APPROACH THAT IS FREE OF ABORTED FETAL TISSUE DURING DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING.
