PROGRAMS INCLUDE:HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELING PROGRAM (HIICAP) PROVIDES MEDICARE COUNSELING, EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, AND ADVOCACY WITH INSURANCE PROVIDERS.LONG-TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN PROGRAM (LTCOP) PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN NURSING HOMES, ASSISTED LIVING, AND ADULT HOMES BY SERVING AS ADVOCATES AND PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.INDEPENDENT CONSUMER ADVOCACY NETWORK (ICAN) PROVIDES ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT TO MEDICAID AND MEDICARE DUAL-ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS WHO REQUIRE LONG-TERM CARE OR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES.ENHANCED AND AUGMENTED MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAMS (E-MDT & A-MDT) COORDINATES PROFESSIONALS ACROSS MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES TO IDENTIFY, INVESTIGATE, AND INTERVENE IN CASES OF ELDER ABUSE AND OTHER FORMS OF ABUSE.
