PROMOTION OF ATHLETIC PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN - YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAM FOR GRADES 1 THROUGH 6. IT IS THE INTENDED PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM TO TEACH PARTICIPANTS THE FUNDAMENTALS OF FOOTBALL, TO DEVELOP POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL TO ENJOY PRACTICING AND PLAYING FOOTBALL UNDER THE PROPER SUPERVISION. THROUGH THE PROGRAM, CHILDREN NOT ONLY BUILD PHYSICAL SKILLS, BUT THE FOLLOWING SPORTSMANSHIP, ETHICAL AND BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: HOW TO TREAT TEAMMATES, COACHES AND OPPONENTS WITH RESPECT; HOW TO RESPECT THE JUDGMENT OF FOOTBALL OFFICIALS AND ABIDE BY THE RULES; AND HOW TO COOPERATE WITH OFFICIALS, COACHES, SUPERVISORS AND FELLOW PARTICIPANTS TO CONDUCT A FAIR CONTEST.
