MARIN THEATRE COMPANY PRODUCES WORLD-CLASS THEATRE FOR THE COUNTY OF MARIN AND BAY AREA COMMUNITIES. MTC STRIVES TO SET A NATIONAL STANDARD FOR INTIMATE THEATRE EXPERIENCES OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY, FEATURIING PROVOCATIVE PLAYS BY PASSIONATE PLAYWRIGHTS. MTC PURSUES A DIALOGUE WITH ITS COMMUNITY THAT ADDRESSES OUR NATIONAL AND LOCAL CONCERNS AND INTERESTS, AND ASSISTS IN FINDING A NEW UNDERSTANDING OF THE AUDIENCES' LIVES. MTC CREATES FUTURE ARTISTS AND ARTS PATRONS THROUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH.

MARIN THEATRE COMPANY IS A PROFESSIONAL REGIONAL THEATER COMMITTED TO PRODUCING HIGH QUALITY LIVE THEATER TO ENGAGE, ENTERTAIN, CHALLENGE AND EDUCATE OUR AUDIENCES, THEREBY ENRICHING THE CULTURAL LIFE OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE PROVIDE A FORUM FOR CONTEMPORARY, CLASSIC AND EMERGING PLAYWRIGHTS AND, THROUGH OUR ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM, AN ENVIRONMENT THAT INTRODUCES PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF THEATER.
THE PRODUCTION OF PLAYS IS COMPLEMENTED BY AN ARRAY OF THEATER EDUCATION PROGRAMS, INCLUDING STUDENT MATINEE PERFORMANCES, TOURING PRODUCTIONS PERFORMING IN THE SCHOOLS, TEACHING ARTIST RESIDENCIES IN THE SCHOOLS, SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AND TEENS INCLUDING CLASSES AND PERFORMANCES, EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIA, AUDIENCE DISCUSSIONS, AND SPECIAL SERIES NIGHTS.
