THE PROGRAM INTEGRATES THE MOVEMENT OF THE HORSE WITH SPECIALLY-DESIGNED ACTIVITIES TAILORED TO EACH STUDENT.

OFFER THERAPEUTIC RIDING LESSONS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH COGNITIVE, PHYSICAL, OR EMOTIONAL DISABILITIES TO HELP STUDENTS GAIN CONFIDENCE BY MASTERING RIDING SKILLS THROUGH FORMING A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE HORSE. COGNITIVE BENEFITS CAN INCLUDE SEQUENCING, HAND-EYE COORDINATION, MULTI- TASKING, SENSORY INTEGRATION, LEFT/RIGHT DISCRIMINATION, MOTOR PLANNING, PATTERNING, AND VISUAL/SPATIAL PERCEPTION.
