THE ORGANIZATION IS ENGAGED IN THE PRESERVATION OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES IN AND AROUND BUCK HILL FALLS, PA. PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE MAINTAINING AND CLEARING TRAILS, MAINTAINING TRAIL SIGNAGE, AND CONDUCTING FORESTRY CLEANUP AND MANAGEMENT. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS ORGANIZED HIKES AND VARIOUS NATURE PROGRAMS. IN AUGUST 2021, THE ORGANIZATION HIRED A FULL-TIME RANGER TO ASSIST IN PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING THESE ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANIZATION RAISED FUNDS FROM: GENERAL DONATIONS, TICKET SALES AND A CHARITY AUCTION AT THE ANNUAL DINNER DANCE, AND DONATIONS TO A PERMANENT ENDOWMENT CREATED TO FUND THE COSTS OF A FULLTIME RANGER (I.E. THE RANGER FUND).
