DUE TO PANDEMIC-RELATED RESTRICTIONS AROUND PUBLIC GATHERINGS, PHILADELPHIA THEATRE COMPANY SHIFTED ITS PROGRAMMING TO THE VIRTUAL SPACE FOR THE 2020-21 SEASON. PTC PRODUCED TEN DIVERSE VIRTUAL OFFERINGS, INCLUDING THE VIRTUAL PRODUCTION OF THE WOLVES BY SARAH DELAPPE FILMED OVER ZOOM AND A MINI-DOCUMENTARY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW MUSICAL THE TATTOOED LADY, AMONG OTHERS. PTC ALSO REINSTATED THE TERRENCE MCNALLY AWARD, WHICH FOCUSED ON THE WORK OF PHILADELPHIA BIPOC PLAYWRIGHTS.
