COMMUNITY SERVICES - THESE SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO ALLOW OUR INDIVIDUALS TO PARTICIPATE IN, AND LEARN DIFFERENT SKILLS WHICH WILL HELP OUR INDIVIDUALS BECOME INTEGRATED MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES. IN THESE PROGRAMS, PARTICIPANTS WILL WORK ON THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NEEDED TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY, MAINTAIN A HEALTHY FAMILY LIFE, AND FIND COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT IN A FIELD THAT INTERESTS THEM. COMMUNITY SERVICES INCLUDES COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION SUPPORTS, IN-HOME AND COMMUNITY, COMPANION, FAMILY AIDE, AND RESPITE.
FAMILY SERVICES - OUR FAMILY SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO HELP FAMILIES WHO MAY BE STRUGGLING IN SOME FASHION. WE OFFER SERVICES TO PARENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE THE NATURAL SUPPORTS, OR TEACHERS THAT ARE VITAL TO ENSURE SUCCESS FROM THE PARENT AND THE CHILD. WE ALSO OFFER SERVICES THAT ARE DESIGNED TO ENSURE THAT A NUCLEAR FAMILY CAN STAY TOGETHER, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. OUR FAMILY SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO HELP TEACH, MANAGE, AND MAINTAIN A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH ALL MEMBERS OF A FAMILY. FAMILY SERVICES INCLUDES FAMILY GROUP DECISION MAKING, FAMILY FINDING, AND PARENTING.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES - THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY SETTINGS FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS IN OBTAINING AND SUSTAINING COMPETITIVE INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT. COMPETITIVE INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT REFERS TO FULL OR PART-TIME WORK AT MINIMUM WAGE OR HIGHER, WITH WAGES AND BENEFITS SIMILAR TO WORKERS WITHOUT DISABILITIES PERFORMING THE SAME WORK, AND FULLY INTEGRATED WITH COWORKERS WITHOUT DISABILITIES. THIS PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES SERVICES PROVIDED TO STUDENTS FROM LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO LEARN, ADVANCE, AND EXPLORE DIFFERENT JOBS AND JOBS SKILLS THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO OBTAIN GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT UPON GRADUATION. EMPLOYMENT SERVICES INCLUDES SCHOOL-TO-WORK, SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT AND OVR SERVICES.
SOURCE AMERICA - THIS PROGRAM CONTAINS OUR CLEANING CONTRACT WITH THE VA OUTPATIENT CLINIC IN SAYRE, PA. FOR THIS PROGRAM, PENN-YORK HIRES, TRAINS, AND HELPS INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES MAINTAIN THE JOBS AS SPECIFIED IN THIS CONTRACT. SOURCE AMERICA ACTS AS A LIAISON BETWEEN PENN-YORK AND THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS.
