PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES FOR CHILDREN FROM THREE TO FIVE YEARS OF AGE WITH SIGNIFICANT SOCIAL EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES AND/OR DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THEIR OPTIMAL DEVELOPMENT.
SELECTED BY THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE AS THE CITYWIDE EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER (TTAC) EFFECTIVE FROM JULY 1, 2016 TO JUNE 30, 2019. IN THIS ROLE, WE PROVIDE EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING TO MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN STATE LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH CLINICS AND OTHER EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONALS.
PURSUANT TO A GRANT FROM THE NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF MENTAL HEALTH. EFFECTIVE FROM JUNE 1, 2019 TO MARCH 31, 2020, WE PROVIDE TRAINING TO EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS REGARDING A NEW DC 0-5 DIAGNOSTIC TOOL FOR EVALUATING BIRTH TO FIVE YEAR OLD CHILDREN.
