FAMILY PROMISE OF SUSSEX COUNTY IS A NEW JERSEY NON-PROFIT CORPORATION FOUNDED IN 1997 EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY FOOD, SHELTER AND SERVICES TO HOMELESS FAMILIES AND SINGLE WOMEN. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS ITSELF BY PUBLIC CONTRIBUTIONS, SPECIAL EVENTS AND THE SALE OF CLOTHING PINS AT RETAILERS. FAMILY PROMISE IS AFFILIATED WITH FAMILY PROMISE INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK, WHERE IT RECEIVES ASSISTANCE IN ESTABLISHING NEW NETWORKS AND SERVICES.
