THE AGENCY PROVIDES NUTRITIOUS MEALS THRU SEVERAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING A SOUP KITCHEN WHICH PROVIDES FREE MEALS ON A DAILY BASIS, A CONGREGATE FAMILY DINNER PROGRAM IN ASSOCIATION WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, BAG MEALS TO GO FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING OR IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND A FRESH FOOD PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS.
THE AGENCY ALSO PROVIDES A PROMISE JOBS CULINARY SCHOOL WHICH EQUIPS LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE FOOD SERVICE INDUSTRY. IN THE PAST 12 YEARS OVER 600 STUDENTS HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM AND ATTAINED GAIN FULL EMPLOYMENT.
PROMISE CATERING CATERS PRIVATE FUNCTIONS IN THE CENTRAL JERSEY AREA. THROUGH THIS PROGAM FOOD SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO THE MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM, A PRESCHOOL PROGRAM FOR LOW INCOME CHILDREN ETC. THE CONTRACT CATERING SERVICES PROVIDE OVER 100,000 QUALITY MEALS FOR LOW INCOME PEOPLE WHILE ALSO CREATING JOBS.
