CHILDRENS COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. ("CCS") IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE LIVES OF FAMILIES WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES. OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN, MALE SINGLE ADULTS AND FEMALE SINGLE ADULTS. WE ALSO PROVIDED STAND ALONE TRANSITIONAL RESIDENCES FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES AND SINGLES ADULTS. WE PROVIDED SUPPORT AND RESOURCES NECESSARY TO PROMOTE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN. CCS COLLABORATED WITH CLIENTS TO HELP THEM DEVELOP INDEPENDENT LIVING PLANS; PROVIDING REFERRALS FOR SERVICES AND ADVOCACY WHERE APPROPRIATE, AND MONITORING PROGRESS. CCS MANAGED AND MONITORED RAPID REHOUSING/TRANSITION-IN-PLACE PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES, DIRECT INTEGRATION INTO THE COMMUNITY AND PERMANENCY IN HOUSING. CCS OFFERED A CONTINUUM OF CARE FOR ALL STAGES OF OUR CLIENTS LIVES, ULTIMATELY LEADING TO INDEPENDENCE. EFFECTIVE APRIL 2021, CCS CEASED OPERATIONS.
