WHAT BEGAN AS A HOMELESS-SHELTER AND SOUP KITCHENS INITIATIVE HAS EVOLVED INTO AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAM THAT NOW SERVICES HUNDREDS OF MEMBERS OF DISTRESSED POPULATIONS SUCH AS LOW-INCOME, SENIOR, AND MENTAL HEALTH CLIENTS IN THE PHILADELPHIA AND SURROUNDING AREAS, AS WELL AS PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO BUYERS WHO DESIRE HOME OWNERSHIP. FOOD FOR LIFE PARTNERS WITH OTHER UNRELATED NONPROFIT ENTITIES SHARING THE SAME VISION AS THEM BY LEASING AVAILABLE HOUSING TO THESE INDIVIDUALS TO CARRY OUT ITS MISSIONS.
