THE MISSION OF AIDS ACTION COMMITTEE IS TO STOP THE EPIDEMIC AND RELATED HEALTH INEQUITIES BY ELIMINATING NEW INFECTIONS, MAXIMIZING HEALTHIER OUTCOMES FOR THOSE INFECTED AND AT RISK, AND TACKLING THE ROOT CAUSES OF HIV/AIDS.

CLIENT SERVICES - THE CLIENT SERVICES DIVISION PROVIDES AND LINKS A DIVERSE CLIENT POPULATION WITH A BROAD CONTINUUM OF SERVICES. SERVICES RANGE FROM DIRECT ASSISTANCE WITH BASIC NEEDS TO SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL PROGRAMS ARE DEVELOPED UNDER THE PRINCIPLE THAT ALL PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AND THOSE AFFECTED BY HIV ARE ENTITLED TO COMPASSIONATE, RESPECTFUL, CONSISTENT AND TIMELY SERVICES WHICH ADDRESS THEIR DIVERSE AND COMPLICATED NEEDS. THE COMMITTEE WORKS TO HELP PEOPLE WITH HIV AND AIDS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR SUPPORT NETWORKS OBTAIN THE HIGHEST QUALITY SOCIAL AND MEDICAL SERVICES TO WHICH THEY ARE ENTITLED AND TO MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF LIFE POSSIBLE.
