THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FOOD, NUTRITION, AND OUTREACH SERVICES TO COMMUNITIES IN BROOKLYN THAT HAVE A LARGE POPULATION OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND HIV/AIDS INFECTED INDIVIDUALS.

THIS PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY A GRANT FROM NYC MEDICAL HEALTH RESEARCH ASSOCIATION/PUBLIC HEALTH SOLUTION. ITS A FOOD NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH HIV/AIDS AND PROVIDES BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNNERS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, ALONG WITH PANTRY BAGS THAT CONTAIN ENOUGH FOOD TO LAST OVER THE WEEKENDS.


THIS PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY A GRANT FROM NYS DOH MULTIPLE SERVICE AGENCIES. IT PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT HIV/AIDS. IT ALSO SEEKS OUT INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WHO ARE AT RISK OF BECOMING INFECTED WITH HIV/AIDS AND EDUCATES THEM ON HOW THE DISEASE IS TRANSMITTED AND WAYS TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF BECOMING INFECTED WITH IT.


THIS PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE NYC DEPT OF HEALTH/PUBLIC HEALTH SOLUTIONS AND ONECITY HEALTH SERVICES. THE ORGANIZATION USES THESE FUNDS TO FULFILL THE NEEDS OR GAPS IN SERVICES OF CASE MANAGEMENT, PRIMARY CARE AND MEDICAL REGIMENS. THE PROGRAM IS TARGETED TOWARDS LATINO AND AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO HAVE ISSUES WITH SUBSTANCE USE, LANGUAGE, LITERACY AND MENTAL ILLNESS.
