THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES MEALS AND SERVICES TO THE HUNGRY TO ENABLE THEM TO ACHIEVE SELF SUFFICIENCY AND INFORMS THE COMMUNITY OF THE NEEDS OF THE HUNGRY AND ADVOCATING FOR RESOURCES. IN THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, 447,500 NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED MEALS WERE PREPARED, SERVED AND/OR DISTRIBUTED AT 32 MEAL SERVICE SITES. IN ADDITION, TASK HAD THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS: RISE DRIVE THROUGH PANTRY: TASK SPENT $150,000 AND CO-ORGANIZED 2 DRIVE THROUGH FOOD PANTRIES EVENTS IN NOVEMBER 2021 AND APRIL 2022 OUTSIDE OF THE CITY OF TRENTON. THE FOOD WAS DISTRIBUTED TO APPROXIMATELY 3,000 FAMILIES. EACH FAMILY RECEIVED OVER 50LBS OF PERISHABLE AND NON-PERISHABLE FOOD. TOTAL OF 150,000 POUNDS OF FOOD OR 125,000 MEALS. PANTRY ITEMS, INCLUDING FRESH PRODUCE TO CANNED GOODS TO BAKERY ITEMS; BAGGED MEALS TO GO AND DIABETIC SNACK BAGS TOTALING 405,000 POUNDS OR 337,500 MEALS. OBTAINED IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS FOR OVER 1,000 PATRONS; PROVIDED 250 HYGIENE BAGS MONTHLY; RECEIVED AND DISTRIBUTED MAIL TO 100 PATRONS; ASSISTED 30 HOMELESS PATRONS IN OBTAINING NEW HOUSING; HELD ON SITE RECRUITMENT RESULTING IN 200 PATRONS BEING EMPLOYED.
