THE JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAL MOSQUITO CONTROL ASSOCIATION IS A SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL PUBLISHED QUARTERLY. THE JOURNAL PROVIDES MEMBERS, SUBSCRIBERS, AND THE PUBLIC WITH THE LATEST RESEARCH AND STUDIES IN MOSQUITO BIOLOGY AND CONTROL.
LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY PROMOTES THE AWARENESS OF SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION REGARDING MOSQUITOS AND THE LIKE TO THOSE IN GOVERNMENT THAT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE INDUSTRY, SO THESE OFFICIALS WILL MAKE EDUCATED DECISIONS WHEN THE NEED ARISES.
THE AMCA ANNUAL MEETING CONSISTS OF EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND EXHIBITS THAT ILLUSTRATE AND HIGHLIGHT THE LATEST SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND PRODUCTS USED TO CONDUST RESEARCH AND CONTROL VECTORS. THESE EXPENSES ALSO INCLUDE FORMING OF COMMITTEES, PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH CONFERENCES WITH OTHER MEMBERS, TRACKING OF MOSQUITOES FOR NUMBERS AND VIRUSES, AND PUBLISHING OF RESULTS, AND THE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OF THE ORGANIZATION.
