THE CITY OF REFUGE INTERNATIONAL PROVIDED SUPPORT TO 135 ORPHANED CHILDREN AND THEIR COMMUNITIES IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO. IN THE UNITED STATES, WE HAVE 20 VOLUNTEERS, AND IN THE CONGO, WE HAVE 150 VOLUNTEERS. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: CHILD SPONSORSHIP, LIVE WELL: WATER WELL PROGRAM, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, COMMUNITY FARMING PROGRAM, LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT, FEEDING STREET CHILDREN (PROJECT 35), WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM, MALNOURISHED PREGNANT WOMEN PROGRAM, AND ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WITH ALBINISM.
