YOUTHBUILD QUAD CITIES PROVIDES CONSTRUCTION TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL, AND LIFE SKILL-BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES TO 16 - 24 YEAR-OLD AT-RISK YOUTH. PARTICIPANTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED AS WELL AS GAIN OCCUPATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, VOLUNTEER, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE, CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. IN THE PROCESS, PARTICIPANTS REVITALIZE BLIGHTED NEIGHBORHOODS BY BUILDING NEW HOMES OR REHABILITATING EXISTING HOMES - CREATING WEALTH-BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOW-INCOME PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN, UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY.
