ADULT SERVICES - EMPLOY MILWAUKEE'S ADULT SERVICES WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO 6,203 CLIENTS DURING THE YEAR FOR CASE MANAGEMENT AT CAREER OPPORTUNITY CENTERS TO INCLUDE ASSESSMENT AND REFERRALS FOR SUPPORTIVE, INTENSIVE, AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.
YOUTH SERVICES - EMPLOY MILWAUKEE'S YOUTH SERVICES PROVIDED SERVICES TO 4,154 YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14 AND 21 TO HELP THEM STAY IN SCHOOL, PREPARE FOR WORK, AND FIND A JOB. IN ADDITION, EMPLOY MILWAUKEE INCREASED SERVICES TO AT-RISK AND OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH FOCUSED ON INCREASING THE AVAILABILITY OF INTEGRATED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES.
DISLOCATED WORKER SERVICES - EMPLOY MILWAUKEE'S DISLOCATED WORKER SERVICES PROVIDED CLIENT SERVICES TO 229 WORKERS IN MILWAUKEE COUNTY WHO WERE LAID OFF FROM THEIR JOBS, FACING LAYOFFS, OR WERE DISPLACED HOMEMAKERS. SERVICES INCLUDE VOCATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND COUNSELING, OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING, ADULT BASIC EDUCATION, AND OTHER VITAL SERVICES, INCREASING THE CLIENTS' SUCCESS IN GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT.
