AS A CO-OP ART GALLERY WE PROVIDE MEMBERSHIP AND GUEST ARTISTS A PROFESSIONAL VENUE TO DISPLAY AND SHOW THEIR WORK. WE SUPPORT AND PROMOTE LOCAL ARTISTS, FOSTER EXPRESSION, CREATE COMMUNITY, AND PROVIDE NETWEORKING FOR ARTISTS, APPRECIATORS AND THE LAKEWOOD COMMUNITY. WE HAVE NEW WORK ON DISPLAY, ON AVERAGE, EVERY THREE WEEKS. IN 2022 NEXT GALLERY HOSTED SHOWS WHICH FEATURED SOLO SHOWS AS WELL AS GROUP SHOWS. ATTENDANCE VARIES FROM 10S TO 100S EVERY WEEKEND.
NEXT GALLERY IS A MEMBER OF THE 40 WEST ARTS DISTRICT. 40 WEST IS A CREATIVE DISTRICT IN LAKEWOOD, CO MANAGED BY A NON-PROFIT, VOLUNTEER DRIVEN ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO INSPRIRING CREATIVITY AND LOCAL PRIDE IN COMMUNITY. WE SUPPORT THEIR INITIATIVE BY CULTIVATING ARTISTIC ENGAGEMENT, PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES. OUR MEMBERS SIT ON COMMUNITY BOARDS, ATTEND LOCAL COUNCILS, AND PARTICIPATE IN GALAS AND FUNDRAISERS TO BOOST COMMUNITY.
NEXT GALLERY PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN ARTISTS AND THE PUBLIC THROUGH DIRECT ENGAGEMENT WITH ORIGIANL WORKS OF ART.
GALLERY MEMBERS SHARE A VISION OF CONTINUED GROWTH IN THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORTING FELLOW MEMBER IN THEIR ARTISTIC JOURNEY. WORKS IN ALL TYPES OF MEDIA AND MATERIALS ARE DISPLAYED TO BOTH ENCOURAGE AND INSPIRE ARTISTS WHILE EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT ARTISTIC EXPRESSION. MONTHLY GALLERY MEETINGS CONDUCT BUSINESS, PLAN EVENTS, AND SUPPORT CREATIVITY. MENTORSHIPS TO YOUNG ARTISTS HELP GROW THEIR PERSONAL CREATIVE EXPRESSION AND SHOWCASE IT IN A PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT. MENTORED MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN GROUP SHOWS AND CAN EVENTUALLY APPLY FOR FULL MEMBERSHIP. PERIODICALLY THERE ARE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR CO-OP MEMBERSHIP.
