OUR COLLABORATION WITH ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS HELP INFORM YOUTH ON THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO BECOME A FORCE FOR GOOD WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES. INFORMATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES LIKE FIELD-TRIPS AND PARTICIPATION IN A VARIETY OF EVENTS HELP TO REMOVE EXACERBATING ROADBLOCKS TO ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND GRADUATION, SUCH AS: HUNGER, LACK OF TECHNOLOGY ACCESS, LIMITED ACCESS TO TUTORING AND MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT, HOMELESSNESS, AND LACK OF PARENTAL SUPPORT.
