IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION OFFERED TWO ARTISTIC DANCE PRODUCTIONS. HANSEL AND GRETEL WAS PERFORMED IN APRIL AT THE ROCHESTER CIVIC THEATRE FEATURING 34 DANCERS. THIS WAS PERFORMED FOR A LIVE AUDIENCE WITH TWO SOLD-OUT SHOWS AND A VIRTUAL SHOW THAT SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES COULD WATCH. IN DECEMBER 2022, A FULL NUTCRACKER PRODUCTION FEATURING 80 YOUTH DANCERS AND 11 ADULT PERFORMERS INCLUDED SPECIAL PERFORMANCES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES, TWO PERFORMANCES FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN (THE THIRD WAS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER), AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC PERFORMANCES. ALSO MANY CLASSROOMS AND FAMILIES WERE ABLE TO VIEW THE PERFORMANCE VIA VIMEO. BOTH PRODUCTIONS INVOLVE SEVERAL MONTHS OF CLASSES AND REHEARSALS, INCLUDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBER DANCERS TO TRAIN AND RECEIVE INSTRUCTION FROM PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS. WITH THESE PRODUCTIONS, THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE QUALITY LOCAL ART TO OVER 4,300 ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN THE SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA COMMUNITY.
