RESCUE, SHELTER AND PLACE HOMELESS AND ABUSED DOGS AND CATS FROM THE RED LAKE RESERVATION AND SURROUNDING AREA TO VARIOUS RESCUES STATEWIDE AND REGIONALLY. 1,079 UNWANTED AND HOMELESS COMPANION ANIMALS WERE RESCUED IN 2021.
WORK TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT ANIMAL HEALTH CARE, ABUSE, OVERPOPULATION,AND SPAY/NUETER OPPORTUNITIES. ORGANIZE AND COORDINATE NEUTER/SPAY AND WELLNESS CLINICS TO PROVIDE MEDICAL VISITS, VACCINATIONS,GROOMING, AND FLEA/TICK PREVENTION. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED 335 COMMUNITY ANIMALS WITH VACCINATIONS, GROOMING, AND VET CHECKS.
IN 2021, THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RED LAKE ANIMAL WELLNESS CENTER WAS STARTED. ONCE COMPLETED, THIS WELLNESS CENTER WILL OFFER WELLNESS AND NEUTER/SPAY CLINICS, WELLNESS WORKSHOPS, SURRENDER EVENTS AND A COMPANION ANIMAL FOOD SHELF.
