A-WOL DANCE COLLECTIVE MISSION IS TO FACILITATE CREATIVE EXPRESSION IN DANCE BY PROVIDING INSTRUCTION TO THE PUBLIC AND ACCESS TO RESOURCES, WORKSHOPS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE WRITING, PREPARATION AND CREATION OF DANCE PERFORMANCES.

A-WOL DANCE COLLECTIVE WAS FOUNDED EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO AS AN AERIAL AND MODERN DANCE COMPANY SEEKING TO TEACH AND PERFORM ORIGINAL, CREATIVE WORKS OF ART USING AERIAL EQUIPMENT AND OTHER FORMS OF DANCE. THE ART THAT A-WOL IS CREATING IS MEANT TO INSPIRE OTHERS AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO PURSUE CREATIVE AVENUES IN THEIR OWN LIVES. THE WAY IN WHICH WE PRESENT THIS ART AND INSPIRE OTHERS IS BY PARTICIPATING IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:(1)EDUCATING YOUTH THROUGH CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES; (2)DANCE PERFORMANCE THAT SHARES OUR ART FORM WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC AT THEATERS, SCHOOLS, GALLERIES, OUTDOOR SETTINGS, FUNDRAISERS AND ARTISTIC EVENTS; (3)TRAINING PROGRAMS THAT OFFER YOUNG AN PRE-PROFESSIONAL LEVEL DANCERS PURSUING DANCE AS A CREATIVE OUTLET OR PROFESSIONAL CAREER; AND (4)PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SPACE THAT ALLOWS PROFESSIONALS AND PRE-PROFESSIONALS A SAFE SPACE TO WORK ON THEIR ART. OUR PURPOSE OF PERFORMING IS TO TEACH THE PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF OF DANCE AND INSPIRE THEM TO PURSUE THEIR OWN CREATIVE ENDEAVORS.
