THE WEBSITE PAINCOMMUNITY.ORG SAW AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF VISITORS OVER THE PREVIOUS YEAR. DEVELOPMENT OF WEBSITE CONTENT AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO MODERATING THE INTERACTIVE SECTIONS OF THE WEBSITE IS PERFORMED BY VOLUNTEERS. VOLUNTEERS REPRESENT THE ORGANIZATION AS COLLABORATORS FOR PUBLIC AWARENESS AND EDUCATION. EXPENSES RELATED TO ALL ACTIVITIES IN THIS PROGRAM SERVICE ACCUMPLISHMENT INCLUDE WEBSITE HOSTING, INTERNET SOFTWARE SERVICES, AND A CONSULTANT SOCIAL WORKER ENGAGED TO PERIODICALLY MONITOR AND MODERATE POSTS IN THE DISCUSSION FORUM.
THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGED IN PUBLIC AWARENESS AND EDUCATION EFFORTS THROUGH MESSAGING SHARED ACROSS THE ORGANIZATION'S SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS AND THROUGH THE TPC PAIN COLLEGE SECTION OF THE WEBSITE. EXPENSES FOR THIS PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT ARE A SHARE OF THE OPERATING EXPENSES FOR COMPUTER HOSTING AND SOFTWARE PLUS A STIPEND PAYMENT TO MENTAL HEALTH THERAPISTS WHO SERVED AS THE ART AND MUSIC FACILITATORS IN THE VIDEO MODULES."
THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED THE FISCAL SPONSORSHIP OF THE ALLIANCE TO ADVANCE COMPREHENSIVE INTEGRATIVE PAIN MANAGEMENT (AACIPM). AACIPM CONVENED WORKING MEETINGS WITH KEY THOUGHT LEADERS AND DECISION MAKERS TO CREATE CONTENT AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO ADDRESS ACCESS TO QUALITY COMPREHENSIVE CARE. AACIPM CONTINUED TO EXPAND THE NETWORK OF ENGAGED STAKEHOLDERS INTERESTED IN DEFINING AND ACTIVATING A QUALITY INTEGRATED PAIN CARE POLICY AND PRACTICE PARADIGM SHIFT. AACIPM COLLABORATED WITH STAKEHOLDERS IN THE PRESENTATION OF VIRTUAL EDUCATION AND DISCUSSION MEETINGS IN 2022.
