WE ASSISTED 34,219 INDIVIDUALS WITH FOOD AND HOUSEHOLD STAPLES WHO WERE INCOME CHALLENGED DUE TO AGE, HANDICAPS, DISABILITIES, UNEMPLOYED AND THOSE EFFECTED BY COVID. WE SUPPLIED THEM WITH SIMPLE FOOD STRETCHING RECIPES, NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION, HEALTH TIPS AND OTHERE VITAL INFORMATION. WE ALSO PROVIDED CLOTHING, SHOES, FURNITURE AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO MANY WHO WERE IN NEED.
WE PROVIDED CANCER PATIENTS 284 GAS VOUCHERS WHO NEEDED ASSISTANCE IN BEING ABLE TO TRAVEL TO A FACILITY FOR CHEMO AND RADIATION TREATMENTS OR DOCTORS VISITS SINCE THESE TREATMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN OUR TOWN.
PROVIDED A MEETING PLACE FOR THE AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS WHO CONSIST OF A GROUP OF VETERANS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN HELPING THOSE IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY. THEY ASSIST WITH BUILDING HANDICAP RAMOS AND POROVIDE TRANSPORATION FOR VETERANS TO DOCTOR VISITS AND ASSISTED IN PREPARING APPLICATIONS FOR WORK OR VETERAN MEDICAL BENEFITS.
