ADVOCATED ON BEHALF OF TRANSIT ISSUES INCLUDING OPPOSITION TO THE I-94 EXPANSION NEAR MILLER PARK IN FAVOR OF MASS TRANSIT, BUS ROUTES AND BIKE LANES. WORKFORCE TRANSPORTATION AND HOUSING ARE TWO OF THE GREATEST BARRIERS TO DEVELOPING WORKFORCE FOR JOB OPENINGS IN WAUKESHA COUNTY. THE TREATMENT INSTEAD OF PRISON TASK FORCE EQUIPPED NEW LEADERS, WITH DIRECT IMPACT FROM HAVING BEEN INCARCERATED OR WITH FAMILY MEMBERS INCARCERATED, TO ADVOCATE FOR STATE AND COUNTY FUNDING OF TREATMENT ALTERNATIVES TO INCARCERATION. CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE FOR CHANGE IN WI PRISONS WITH A CAMPAIGN TO DECARCERATE PRISONERS SAFELY, DECREASING THE POPULATION DURING COVID. PRISONERS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED TO THE COMMUNITY THAT HAVE SERVED MORE THAN THE EXPECTED SENTENCE BUT HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THE "OLD LAW" PRIOR TO TRUTH IN SENTENCING. LAUNCHED AND CARRIED OUT VARIOUS GET OUT THE VOTE INITIATIVES PRIOR TO THE FALL ELECTION. RAISED OVER $8,000 THROUGH DONATIONS TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT 23 IMMIGRANT FAMILIES WHO WERE NOT ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE COVID STIMULUS CHECKS, BUT WERE IN DIRE NEED OF HELP. -
