NINETY PERCENT OF THOSE WE SERVE DO NOT UTILIZE OUR SHELTER SERVICES AND INSTEAD ENGAGE IN OUR COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS. APPROXIMATELY 20% ARE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND 80% ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.WE HAVE ALSO ONLY BEEN ABLE TO HOUSE ONE FAMILY PER SUITE DUE TO COVID PROTOCOLS WHICH HAS INCREASED OUR NEED TO REFER SURVIVORS TO SURROUNDING SHELTERS OR PAY FOR LOCAL HOTEL ROOMS.
