EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING IN FY22, THE ORGANIZATION HAD 821 ACROSS ALL PROGRAMS. SERVICE DELIVERY WAS DONE IN RESPONSE TO THE NEEDS AND PREFERENCES OF OUR CLIENTS.SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS CLASSES WERE TAUGHT IN PERSON. 25 STUDENTS TOOK SERVSAFE FOOD SAFETY, 82 STUDENTS TOOK TIPS CERTIFICATION (THE SAFE SERVING OF ALCOHOL), AND 16 STUDENTS WERE CERTIFIED IN CPR/AED AND FIRST AID.ENGLISH, U.S. CITIZENSHIP PREPARATION, AND TECHNOLOGY CLASSES WERE TAUGHT VIRTUALLY. THERE WERE 739 ENROLLMENTS IN 49 ENGLISH CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS, 22 ENROLLMENTS IN THREE CITIZENSHIP CLASSES, AND 61 STUDENTS TOOK SIX COMPUTER CLASSES. 86 STUDENTS ACROSS ALL THE ORGANIZATION'S CLASSES EARNED A FREE CHROMEBOOK IN FY22, THANKS TO THE ORGANIZATION'S PARTNERSHIP WITH TECH GOES HOME. IN ADDITION TO ENGLISH CLASSES, THE ORGANIZATION HELD WORKSHOPS RELATED TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING (E.G., PRONUNCIATION WORKSHOP) AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS, (E.G., "STRONG PASSWORDS") AND GETTING A JOB, (E.G., "NAVIGATING APPLICATIONS AND "VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS"). JOB SEEKER IN FY22, THE ORGANIZATION HAD 53 STUDENTS ENROLLED IN JOB SEEKER CLASSES: 28 IN OUR HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES WORKER PROGRAM AND 25 IN OUR INTRODUCTION TO HOSPITALITY, HOUSEKEEPING PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM. 69% OF FY22 JOB SEEKER GRADUATES WERE JOB PLACED. JOB SEEKER CLASSES WERE OFFERED FOLLOWING A HYBRID SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL, WITH CERTAIN COMPONENTS TAUGHT IN PERSON IN AT THE MEDFORD/SEAPORT OFFICES AND OTHERS VIRTUALLY. VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED COLLEGE INTERNS, TWO NAIP AMERICORPS MEMBERS, AND 42 VOLUNTEERS WHO PROVIDED SERVICES TO 52 INDIVIDUALS DURING FY22. THESE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING IN ENGLISH, U.S. CITIZENSHIP PREPARATION, AND TECHNOLOGY; PROVIDED INTERVIEW PRACTICE: WORKED WITH INDIVIDUALS ON JOB SEARCH AND RESUME DEVELOPMENT; ASSISTED IN ONLINE ZOOM CLASSES, AND MORE. NEW TRAINING SITE IN FY22, THE ORGANIZATION OPENED A NEW TRAINING SITE AT 450 SUMMER STREET, IN THE BOSTON SEAPORT AREA. THE OFFICE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE OMNI BOSTON AT THE SEAPORT HOTEL BUILDING. IT HAS DEDICATED CLASSROOM AND OFFICE SPACE AND IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, WE OFFERED SKILLS CERTIFICATION CLASSES AND JOB SEEKER CLASSES HERE.
