A NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY ART STUDIO LOCATED IN THE REO TOWN DISTRICT OF LANSING MICHIGAN, OFFERING OUT-OF-SCHOOL VISUAL ART EDUCATION FOR YOUTH OF ALL AGES (2-18), AND ADULTS FROM THE GREATER LANSING AREA, TAUGHT BY LOCAL ARTISTS AND ART EDUCATORS.

THEMED CLASSES:OUT-OF-SCHOOL WEEKLY ARTS EDUCATION CLASSES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS OFFERED IN FOUR, 8-WEEK TERMS. CLASSES MAINLY IN VISUAL ARTS SUCH AS PAINTING, DRAWING, DIGITAL ARTS, AND MIXED MEDIA. ALL FEE-BASED YOUTH CLASSES ARE OFFERED ON A SLIDING SCALE BASED ON STUDENT'S HOUSEHOLD INCOME LEVEL. SOME CLASSES, SUCH AS LIFE DRAWING, ARE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE WITH AN "OPTIONAL" FEE. IN 2021, NO CLASSES WERE OFFERED UNTIL SUMMER DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC.
SUMMER CAMPS & ART TRUCK: HALF DAY, M-F CAMP SESSIONS IN ART MEDIA ARE OFFERED JUNE - AUGUST TO AGES 6-12. ARE OFFERED JUNE - AUGUST TO AGES 4-13. REGULAR CAMP SESSIONS ARE OFFERED FOR A FEE, WITH FULL REGULAR CAMP SESSIONS ARE OFFERED FOR A FEE, WITH FULL AND PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE. ADDITIONALLY, REACH IS CONTRACTED BY THE LANSING SCHOOL DISTRICT SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM TO LEAD ART ACTIVITIES DURING THEIR CAMPS. THE SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT IS FREE FOR DISTRICT STUDENTS. REACH MOBILE ART STUDIO, ART TRUCK, TAKES ART TO COMMUNITY PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, SUCH AS BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB AND OTHER CENTERS WHERE LOW INCOME CHILDREN ATTEND SUMMER ACTIVITIES FREE OF CHARGE.
