TEXAS TENNIS COACHES ASSOCIATION TTCA HOSTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE EACH DECEMBER FOR IT'S MEMBERS. MEMBERS ATTEND SEMINARS ON TEACHING AND COACHING TENNIS LEARN ABOUT ANY RULE CHANGES AND RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT COLLEGE SHOWCASES AVAILABLE FOR THEIR PLAYERS. THE CONFERENCE ALSO INCLUDES A TRADE SHOW WITH TENNIS RETAILERS AND MANUFACTURERS.


TTCA MANAGES AND RUNS THE 3A&UNDER STATE TEAM TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS THE 2A&UNDER STATE TEAM TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP NAME CHANGE FROM 1A FROM PREVIOUS YEAR AND THE PRIVATE SCHOOL STATE TEAM TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS. IT ALSO AIDS TENNIS COACHES ORGANIZING MATCHES AND TOURNAMENTS FOR IT'S PLAYERS.


TTCA RECOGNIZES COACHES WHO EXCEL BY PROVIDING AWARDS IN ALL CLASSIFICATIONS. THE TTCA ALSO HONORS SPECIAL AWARDS GIVEN TO COACHES WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXTRAORDINARY QUALITIES OF CHARACTER. THE TTCA ALSO SPONSORS A HALL OF FAME FOR COACHES WHO HAVE BEEN INDUCTED INTO THE THE HALL OF FAME. THE INDUCTION CEREMONY TO HONOR ALL OF THESE COACHES TAKES PLACE ON FRIDAY EVENING OF THE CONVENTION EACH YEAR.
