COMMUNITY ORGANIZING: ONEAMERICAS CORE STRATEGY CONTINUED TO CENTER AROUND BASE-BUILDING, COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORK WITH IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES ACROSS WASHINGTON STATE. THE REGIONS WITH THE STRONGEST ORGANIZING WERE CENTRAL WASHINGTON, SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON, AND WESTERN WASHINGTON. IN THE SOUTH KING COUNTY REGION NEAR SEATTLE, IMMIGRANT BUSINESS OWNERS, YOUTH AND PARENTS ALL PLAYED KEY ROLES IN ONEAMERICAS ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
WNA: THE WASHINGTON NEW AMERICANS PROGRAM (WNA) CONNECTS IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES IN WASHINGTON STATE TO THE INFORMATION AND LEGAL SERVICES NEEDED TO SUCCESSFULLY NATURALIZE AND EXERCISE THEIR CIVIC VOICE.
