SUSTAIN HAWAII BEGAN SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF A 3-YEAR CULTURAL PRESERVATION GRANT FOR NATIVE, MEDICINAL PLANTS FROM THE ADMINISTRATION FOR NATIVE AMERICANS. WE?VE ALSO CONTINUED ASSISTING OUR INDIGENOUS POPULATION AND VULNERABLE COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH SYSTEMS-BASED HEALTH & WELLNESS EDUCATION, INCLUDING HANDS-ON LEARNING CREATING NUTRIENT RICH GROWING MEDIUM, PLANTING/HARVESTING NUTRIENT DENSE FRUITS, VEGETABLES, HERBS, SPICES, NUTS AND SEEDS, FOOD PREP AND VALUE-ADD PRODUCTION, CULINARY SKILLS, DAILY NUTRIENT TRACKING AND GAP ANALYSES, ETC.
