WERC SERVICES ARE SELF DIRECTED AND ARE TAILORED TO EACH INDIVIDUAL'S UNIQUE NEEDS, TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THEIR EDUCATION, JOB HISTORY, TRAINING NEEDS, BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT AND THE GOALS THEY CREATE. WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF STAFF, EACH WERC CLIENT DESIGNS AN EMPLOYMENT PLAN. TOGETHER THEY ASSESS TRAINING NEEDS AND DEVELOP A JOB SEARCH STRATEGY. OUR DISPUTE RESOLUTION SERVICES CONTINUES TO BE AN EFFECTIVE PROCESS FOR RESOLVING FAMILY AND COMMUNITY CONFLICTS. IN 2021,70% OF INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE OFFERED MEDIATION SERVICES UTILIZED THE SERVICE.OUR YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAM PROVIDES INTERVENTION FOR JUVENILE OFFENDERS AND YOUTH STRUGGLING WITH INTERPERSONAL CONFLICTS. IN 2020, WE LAUNCHED PROJECT STAMP (SCHOOL TARDINESS AND ATTENDANCE MEDIATION PROGRAM) AN EARLY INTERVENTION INITIATIVE IN WHICH TRAINED, EXPERIENCED MEDIATORS BRING THE STUDENTS, SCHOOL COUNSELORS, AND PARENTS TOGETHER TO WORK OUT A PLAN TO RESOLVE THE STUDENT'S SCHOOL ATTENDANCE PROBLEMS. SCHOOL ATTENDANCE MEDIATIONS ARE STUDENT-CENTERED AND GOAL FOCUSED. THE MEDIATION BEGINS WITH THE STUDENT'S PERSPECTIVE OF THE ATTENANCE PROBLEM, WHICH IS A CRITICAL ELEMENT OF THE PROCESS. THIS SERVICE CONTINUES TO EXPAND. IN 2021, 120 FAMILIES WERE SERVED THROUGH PROJECT STAMP.
