CONTINUED EXPANSION OF HOME EDUCATION TO SEVERAL HUNDRED FAMILIES IN NEW YORK STATE. REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES WERE HELD AND SUPPORT EXTENDED TO NUMEROUS CHAPTERS FOR THE EFFECTIVE DISSEMINATION OF THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION.

VITAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE MEMBERSHIP ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE LEAH MESSENGER. THE MESSENGER COMMUNICATES THE TIMES AND LOCATIONS OF REGIONAL EVENTS, ASSISTS BY PROVIDING HOME-SCHOOLING RESOURCES AND UPDATES AND IS INFORMATIVE ON OTHER HOME-SCHOOLING ISSUES.
COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES WERE HELD FOR APPROXIMATELY 80 HIGH SCHOOL HOME-SCHOOLED GRADUATES PROVIDING RECOGNITION OF SCHOLASTIC AND OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS.
STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ARE ASSISTED WITH EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND ACCOMMODATED WITH NECESSARY EQUIPMENT AND PROGRAMS. PARENTS OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN ARE INFORMED OF ACADEMIC RESOURCES AND SUPPLIES TO INCORPORATE IN THEIR HOME SCHOOLS.
