TO BE MORE THAN A PANTRY BY PROVIDING CLIENTS WITH RESOURCES TO BE FOOD SECURE AND SELF-SUFFICIENT IN A HOPE-FILLED ENVIRONMENT. WE PRIMARILY SERVE THE WORKING POOR SO IN ADDITION TO A WEEK'S SUPPLY OF FOOD, WE OFFER JOB RESOURCES AND COMMUNITY REFERRALS.

WE PROVIDED A WEEK'S SUPPLY OF FOOD TO 62,976 LOW INCOME PEOPLE. WE ALSO DELIVERED FOOD TO HOMEBOUND ELDERLY CLIENTS AND COMMUNITIES IN RURAL NEBRASKA WITH HIGH NEED. CLIENTS SPOKE ONE-ON-ONE WITH A CLIENT SERVICE SPECIALIST TO RECEIVE ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND REFERRALS. THIS MAY HAVE INCLUDED CONNECTING THEM TO JOB OPPORTUNITIES, PROVIDING INFORMATION ON RENT AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE OR ASSISTING WITH A SNAP APPLICATION. CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES WERE ALSO PROVIDED. 29,608 PEOPLE RECEIVED CLOTHING, 23,049 HYGEINE ITEMS WERE DISTRIBUTED AND 8,165 DIAPER PACKS WERE DISTRIBUTED.

WE PROVIDED AN UPDATED JOBS BOARD, CONNECTED CLIENTS TO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND REFFERED CLIENTS TO EDUCATIONAL AND JOB RESOURCES. 495 STUDENTS RECEIVED SCHOOL SUPPLIES THROUGH OUR BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAY.


WE HAVE AN ADOPT A FAMILY PROGRAM. 3,966 CHILDREN RECEIVED CHRISTMAS TOYS AND CLOTHING. DONORS ARE ABLE TO SHOP FOR A PARTICULAR FAMILY AND SHOP FOR WHAT THE CHILDREN WANT AND NEED. TOYS ARE THEN DROPPED OFF TO HEARTLAND HOPE MISSION AND WE DISTRIBUTE THE TOYS AND A CHRISTMAS PANTRY TO THE FAMILIES. HEARTLAND HOPE MISSION "SHOPS" FOR FAMILIES THAT WERE NOT ADOPTED FROM THE DONATED TOYS AND WE DO OUR BEST TO MATCH THE TOYS AND CLOTHES TO WHAT THE CHILDREN WANT AND NEED.
