CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM - THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, CHILD CARE PROVIDERS LEARN ABOUT NUTRITION AND PROVIDING HEALTHY MEALS TO CHILDREN AND RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT TOWARDS CREDITABLE FOODS SERVED TO CHILDREN IN THEIR CARE.
CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL - THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, THE NETWORK PROVIDES NO COST SERVICES TO HELP PARENTS IN THEIR SEARCH FOR CHILD CARE BY HELPING FAMILIES BECOME INFORMED CONSUMERS ABOUT QUALITY CHILD CARE AND BY PROVIDING INFORMATION ON THE TYPES OF AND OPTIONS FOR CHILD CARE IN THE COMMUNITY. THE NETWOWRK REFERS PARENTS TO REGULATED CHILD CARE PROVIDERS. THE NETWORK ASSISTS CHILD CARE PROVIDERS WITH STARTING AND MAINTAINING SAFE, HEALTHY AND QUALITY CHILD CARE SETTINGS THROUGH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS. THE NETWORK SHOWS EMPLOYERS HOW TO ESTABLISH A VARIETY OF EMPLOYER SUPPORTED CHILD CARE SERVICES. THE NETWORK ALSO KEEPS THE COMMUNITY INFORMED ABOUT CHILD CARE ISSUES.
LEGALLY EXEMPT PROGRAM - THE CHILD CARE NETWORK IS DESIGNATED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK AS THE LEGALLY EXEMPT CHILD CARE PROVIDER ENROLLMENT AGENCY SERVING WASHINGTON, WARREN AND HAMILTON COUNTIES. THE CHILD CARE UNITS IN EACH COUNTY'S DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES WILL PAY A CHILD CARE SUBSIDY FOR WORKING PARENTS AND/OR PARENTS WHO ARE IN SCHOOL WHEN THE CHILD CARE PROVIDER IS APPROVED AND ENROLLED AS A LEGALLY EXEMPT PROVIDER.
OTHER EXEMPT PURPOSE ACCOMPLISHMENT PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE STABILIZATION PROGRAM AND THE BREAST FEEDING PROGRAM.
